Alumni Volunteering opportunities
We often need Alumni to support our program through recruitment efforts, youth volunteer preparation, program support and public engagement events.
If you are interested, fill out our registration form and we will add your name to the alumni-volunteer list and communicate with you when volunteer opportunities come up in your area.
We might ask you to present your CWY experience in schools, to represent us at a fair or an event, to provide support during youth volunteer preparation days, to co-facilitate an information session for returning youth volunteers and even more!
Also, there may be a CWY exchange taking place near where you live. Take a look at the 2010-11 Canadian host communities list (PDF) and, if you live in or close to a host community, contact the supervisor directly and offer him or her some help during the Canadian phase of the exchange. (The supervisors' emails can be found in the list)
Share your ideas with us
As a past participant, your input is very important to us. We would like to hear your comments and ideas about CWY as is today, about any upcoming changes, and about any of our documents, programs, initiatives, etc. Don't hesitate to speak out!
